Reporting to manger of Value Engineering, you will assist in driving projects to standardizing our value-based solution proposition, identifying, generating productivity ideas, and collaborate with the different departments in achieving the productivity targets of the plants. As long as localization projects as well.
Lead VE projects from design to mass production release.
Coordinate with cross functional teams to organize project schedule.
Lead brainstorming to generate continuous flow of VE ideas.
Follow up competitive benchmarking and feasibility study.
Communicate with supplier to confirm component specification, target cost and lead-time.
Prepare 3D part drawing and detail 2D drawing, assembly drawing and MSCD.
Performing dimensioning and tolerance calculations.
Initiate ENG documentation like BOM, ECO and SER. Follow up tooling plan, mold and die debugging.
Evaluate the new part according to the drawing. Follow up reliability testing & safety approval with laboratory.
Follow up continuous product improvement actions.
​This position will be based in SHTP Factory, District 9, HCMC. Shuttle bus from District 1,10,7,11,12,Hoc Moc, Go Vap, BInh Thanh, Thu Duc/Binh Duong/Dong Nai is available.
Yêu cầu
University Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production or other related Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in VE/NPD/NPI project follow up in the engineering industry. Working in power tools field is an advantage.
Power Tools knowledge Product design Familiar on 2D and 3D CAD with UG or Pro-E. Safety approval knowledge
Good English Commercially and financially aware
Strong analytical skills, costing / cost modeling
Good computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, email communication.
Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
​​We welcome Fresh Engineers with <1 year of experiecne, as Assistant Engineer level.
