Mô tả công việc
As a Piping Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our international projects. Based in our Vietnam office, you will support project teams in the US and Canada to review piping designs, manage 3D models, resolve design issues, and ensure project documentation is accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review detailed piping design documents, including P&IDs, piping layouts, and 3D models submitted by contractors.
• Identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies through the collaboration with the project team.
• Review the BOM for procurement and construction.
• Review and verify Installation Manuals and ensure all parameters comply with specifications.
• Monitor the progress of engineering, procurement, and construction tasks through remote access to project management tools and reports.
• Maintain up-to-date records of project milestones and status.
• Draft Project Management Team reports using standardized templates for project tracking.
• Review and validate invoices by comparing them with the Progress Check Sheets to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive project database for documentation and tracking purposes.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in piping design and construction project management, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Power Plant or Automobile industry.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, PDMS, Navisworks).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Familiar with project management principles and methodologies.
