We Are Hiring: SAFETY ENGINEER
Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the safety management system for the project to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, site audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety standards are met during all phases of construction.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it is available and used correctly by all staff and workers.
- Provide safety training and induction for all new employees, contractors, and visitors to the site.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, report findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and report on the safety performance of the site, including accident statistics and safety audits.
- Ensure all safety permits and documents are up to date and compliant with local authorities and regulations.
- Participate in safety meetings and ensure that safety concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
- Support the
project manager
and senior leadership in promoting a safety culture across all departments
Yêu cầu
Job Requirement
- Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction safety management, preferably in large-scale projects..
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations, construction safety standards, and emergency procedures.
- Familiarity with safety inspection tools, risk assessment techniques, and accident investigation procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train, motivate, and advise team members on safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Certification in safety-related courses (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, performance-driven, and able to work independently or within a team.
