THE ROLE
• Collaborate with customers to improve plant health and environmental footprint by
facilitating system improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• To contribute to profitable growth in product and services revenue, through engineering consultancy, technical support, and mechanical services work.
Key Responsibilities:
• To conduct on-site survey to customers
• Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams and fluid schematics
• Mechanically inclined regarding utilization of tools and equipment.
• Ability to operate independently to solve problems and make sound technical decisions.
• Ability to identify and assess new opportunities for the company, and work with customers as part of the sales or services process
• Clear and effective communication skills; ability to train others.
• General computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD).
• The ability and desire to travel as described within the program guidelines (including willingness to work in hazardous environments).
• Ability to perform rigorous physical tasks.
• Ability to work safely in hazardous or dangerous environments, including heights and confined spaces
• Conduct technical training to customer.
• Support Sales, CSD and external customers on their technical question.
Yêu cầu
Position Requirements:
• Education: Bachelors degree in engineering: Mechanical or Automation engineer or related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years experience in plant operations or technical services.
• Able to communicate in English
• Good computer skill: AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Power point
• Good interpersonal skills - able to interact well with all levels of customers and able to build report.
• Project management skill is a plus.
• Knowledge/ Experience in process engineering and/or the reliability function within industry (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Semiconductor, General Industry ...) is preferred. Having knowledge in pneumatic or hydraulic system is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and travel long distances
