Mô tả công việc
1. Kubernetes Cluster Management
Design, deploy, and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters using Rancher.
Ensure high availability and scalability of Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.
Maintain and upgrade Kubernetes clusters and Rancher installations to keep them secure and up to date
2. Infrastructure Management
Manage physical and virtual servers, storage, and networking to support on-premises Kubernetes environments.
Implement and maintain load balancing, ingress, and service mesh configurations within Kubernetes.
3. CI/CD Pipeline Automation
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate with Kubernetes for seamless application deployments.
Automate the build, test, and deployment processes for microservices running in Kubernetes
4. Monitoring, Logging, and Alerts
Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes clusters using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar tools.
Set up alerts and dashboards to monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and application performance.
5. Security & Compliance
Implement Kubernetes security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and secrets management.
Ensure that the on-premises infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Disaster Recovery & Backup
Design and implement disaster recovery strategies for on-premises Kubernetes environments.
Set up automated backup and restore processes for critical workloads and configurations.
7. Collaboration & Support
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable application delivery in Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Kubernetes environment and across the on-premises infrastructure.
8. Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement improvements in scalability, performance, and cost efficiency within the Kubernetes infrastructure.
Stay current with the latest developments in Kubernetes, Rancher, and related technologies, and recommend their integration when beneficial.
Yêu cầu
Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role, with at least 2 years managing Kubernetes clusters.
Proven experience with Rancher for managing Kubernetes in an on-premises environment.
Strong knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Solid experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
Skills
Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
Deep understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewall management).
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. ○ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio.
Familiarity with storage solutions for Kubernetes (NFS, vSAN, Ceph).
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools tailored for Kubernetes environments.
Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent.
