Position: Chief Administration Officer
Based: Binh Thanh, Saigon, Vietnam
Starting: by March 2025
Reporting to: CEO/Founder
Pandaw Cruises is the largest river cruise business in South and South-East Asia. Established for nearly 30 years it operates 17 ships in 5 countries. It is a family-owned business and currently employs about 250 people of all nationalities.
Pandaw ships offer high levels of service, comfort and safety and set the benchmark for river cruising in Asia. Pandaw is a revered and much-loved brand with something of a cult following in the UK, USA and Australia and high repeat travel rates.
You would join our dynamic and energetic team based at our head office in Saigon, Vietnam. Heading up our finance division there, you would also travel to our Pandaw destinations in South-East Asia and India on a regular basis to engage with local managers.
You would have experience of either of, or a combination of hospitality, travel or ship management and would have experience of living and working in Asia. Preferably you should have an accounting background and with law degree and/or MBA.
Responsibilities would include overseeing finance and reservations teams in the Saigon head office which would include:
• Bank relations including compliance questions, audits, KYC updates, etc.
• Annual financial statement and audit process.
• Statutory accounting and auditing are on time.
• Preparation of the annual budget for each business unit and the whole company.
• Monthly management accounts, cash flows projections and reporting pack to owners.
• Tax reporting in the various jurisdictions.
• HR legal and compliance in various jurisdictions.
• Company secretarial and statutory reporting for Pandaw companies in destination countries.
• Ensure validity of ship registrations and operating licences in all countries.
• Head office management and administration
• Sales reports, analysis and yield management
• Team training and task allocation

• Experience in hospitality, travel, or ship management.
