Mô tả công việc
• Daily checking smoke detection system, follow up & implements maintenance procedures with the contractor.
• Weekly checking Fire pump and Generator to make sure it working and put in "auto" mode.
• Monthly check emergency light and follow with contractor to maintain Fire detection system in good condition.
• Follow Risk Management checklist form and follow the implement issue
• Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic.
• Conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals to improve worker productivity.
• Possess a recognized local qualification as well as any legal requirement such as Professional Certificates or Licenses
• Responsible for the proper organization and functioning of the environmental and energy management function of the POMEC Department
• In charge of the operation and maintenance of waste treatment plant
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of pollution control (e.g. water, air, noise) equipment and facilities
• Ensures the proper treatment and disposal of toxic and hazardous wastes
• Keeps abreast with the requirements of governing agencies and the latest available technology on the prevention, control, and abatement of pollution
• Maintains liaison with environmental protection agencies, local authorities, and community representatives
• Supports and initiate programs for the improvement procedures and the reduction of energy and utility costs
• Analyses and monitors energy costs and expenditures for the department
• Recommends to the Assistant Chief Engineer, new policies and procedures for a more economical operation and maintenance program
• Participates in the preparation of the annual POMEC Budget
• Reviews proposed capital expenditure authorization requests (CEA) forms pertaining to POMEC, and makes appropriate recommendations
• Interacts and cooperates with Hotel guests and outside contractors as directed by his superior
• Cooperates and communicates with other sections in the Engineering department
• Interacts and cooperates with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities
• Assists in Engineering contract analysis
• Assists tradesmen with maintenance and repair when required
• Conducts briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
Yêu cầu
Required Skills -
• Presentation skills
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Good writing skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
Qualifications -
• 4 year Diploma Fireman/Mechanical/Public Health
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Professional qualifications corresponding to the hotels environmental treatment systems
Experience -
• 3 years experience in a similar role and possess strong ability to analyze metrics/statistics, data and evaluating results.
