Description of the job
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented colleague to provide expert legal services and advice to clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters across various fields. The Lawyer will collaborate with clients, team members, and external parties to ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, and deliver successful outcomes. This position, which may be designated as Associate or Senior Associate (subject to final confirmation), will report to the Partners, Head of Legal, or as determined by the management structure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Advice, Research and Analysis:
• Advise clients on their legal rights, responsibilities, and options across various areas of law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct in-depth research to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Prepare case strategies and provide detailed opinions based on legal findings.
2. Licensing:
• Advise clients, and provide accurate and practical legal solutions aligned with clients business goals and the latest regulations.
• Conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions and market entry.
• Manage licensing and registration processes with relevant government authorities.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
• Mentor and support junior team members, as appropriate.
• Participate in internal training sessions and contribute to developing best practices.
3. Case Management, and others
• Manage a portfolio of cases, ensuring timely and effective progress.
• Coordinate with external counsel, experts, and other stakeholders when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, case files, and legal proceedings
• Provide training or workshops on legal topics as needed.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
• Communicate regularly to update clients on case progress and address their concerns.
• Act with the highest degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
• Other tasks and admin tasks as assigned.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB), licensed to practice law in Vietnam (for Senior Associate).
• 2-5 years of experience in a legal role, with expertise in Corporate Law, Investment Law, Tax Law.
• Strong understanding, and knowledge of Vietnam law.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, legal research and analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and work effectively under deadlines
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Advance English communication (writing and speaking).
• Ethical, with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
• Adaptable and collaborative in team environments.
