ROLE OVERVIEW
The Junior Data Assistant supports the Innovation team by assisting with data collection, entry, cleaning, and validation. They help maintain dashboards, contribute to automation projects, and ensure data accuracy across systems. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build expertise in data analytics, cloud tools (Azure Fabric, AWS, or Google Cloud), and automation platforms like Power BI and Power Automate within a dynamic and innovative environment.
MAIN TASK:
Perform accurate data entry and update datasets across systems, ensuring completeness and consistency in Excel, databases, and platforms.
Identify and clean data discrepancies using Excel, Python, and other tools. Ensure consistency across systems and reports.
Assist in creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and Excel reports for key person , ensuring up-to-date and accurate data.
Validate datasets to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with data governance protocols. Perform cross-checks to maintain reliable data pipelines.
Collaborate on automation projects, preparing and structuring data for Power Automate or similar tools. Perform workflow testing
Provide technical and administrative support for ongoing data-related projects. Assist in the design of simple data workflows and system updates.
Gather requirements from cross-functional departments to assist in delivering insights, reports, and automation solutions.
Assist with ongoing research on data trends and technologies (e.g., Power Apps, Microsoft Fabric). Support technical documentation updates.
Bachelors degree or currently pursuing in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic English for technical documentation,good communication skills are an advantage.
Skilled in Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Cloud tools.
Experience:
Experience with Power BI, Excel, Power Automate.
Proficient in DAX for Power BI analytics.
Familiarity with cloud tools (e.g., Azure).
Knowledge:
Data management and quality standards.
Power BI reporting, Power Automate workflow design.
Microsoft Azure and Fabric for data integration.
Data governance practices.
Skills:
Technical:
Proficient in Excel (formulas, PivotTables), Power BI, DAX, SQL, Python.
Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Soft:
Detail-oriented, good communicator, proactive learner.
