Mô tả công việc
Purpose of Role:
• Responsible for identifying and progressing the Raw Material projects related to value engineering, and alternative sources.
• Develop ingredients from new suppliers that meet the quality standards, regulatory and internal standards of PVM suitable for human consumption, related new product development or modifications to existing recipes.
• Coordinate with Procurement/CI/Finance teams to report on the progress of the projects and the financial impact.
Key Accountabilities/ Job Description:
1. Manage all projects related to the new material developments and recipe modifications to achieve all financial & project targets aligned with the RDQ Director and R&D Manager.
2. Coordinate the cross-functional including Finance, Procurement, and Plan & Deliver team to estimate the saving value of each project and establish a clear timeline from trial to implementation. Especially, ensure urgent projects to solve crisis cases are delivered on time in full.
3. Monthly update on the progress and implementation of each project for the Continuous Improvement team and Group RDQ (One Project List RM, One Project List Edible, FOX).
4. Work with Finance and Procurement team to assess the financial impact of alternative raw material projects.
5. Work together with the Group/ Local Procurement to locate ingredients related to new projects, coordinate and organize shipments and receptions of samples of materials and products inter companies.
6. Review and analyze the technical information received from suppliers. Share technical information with the R&D team about the ingredients to be used in the formulations, as well as their permitted limits.
7. Coordinate document checks with Regulatory, Quality, and SHE teams to progress for new materials and share feedback with suppliers constantly. If the raw material has a document issue, arrange the internal alignment with Local teams or Group RDQ/ RSME (if necessary) to draw the decision.
8. Lead cross-functional team through all trial activities (incoming material inspection, Lab/Industrial trial, shelf-life test, long shelf-life test, transit test), generate reports for the validation and approval of P&T director and Group RDQ.
9. Oversee the technical specifications and any adjustments to the material. Ensure safe handling methods and storage conditions for all materials. Monitor and validate specification update of the supplier. Ensure the updated specification is informed to Quality Incoming team for smooth incoming check process.
10. Maintain samples of ingredients received from suppliers for small-scale and industrial tests; and share ingredient standards with the Quality assurance area.
11. Investigate and provide technical solutions for material non-conformity to ensure production continuity. Jointly evaluate corrective actions and preventive actions from the manufacturers.
12. Control RM SAP code creation for the team and ensure all active RM codes (including shelf life, active status, and description) in the SAP system are up to date.
13. Follow up closely with Plan & Deliver team and Procurement team to identify potential crisis cases and generate suitable actions.
Yêu cầu
• University Degree or above in Food Technology and/or Chemistry.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Technology or Quality area of Food Companies.
• Know-how in Confectionary manufacturing is preferable.
• Good command of English (spoken and written) and computer usage (Word, Excel, Power point).
• Excellent interpersonal skills (leadership, great team player, problem solving, ability to work with people across functions/levels, integrity).
• Experience in Quality and Food Safety Management System would be an advantage.
