As a Senior Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for goods and services required by the company. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the purchasing process aligns with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes
• Inquire, evaluate and select suppliers according to the approved supplier panel, specifications, quality expectations, and market competitiveness; ensure commercial, technical and quality requirements are achieved
• Identify quantity requirements, types of goods, and prepare purchase proposals
• Implement bidding process to choose the most suitable suppliers
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Support in development of purchasing strategy
• Maintain good relationship with current suppliers and expand new suppliers
• Research and monitor industry trends (sourcing, technology, market price)
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Propose solutions to save costs and improve product quality
• Conduct other procurement related tasks as assigned
Yêu cầu
Job Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing field, preferably at OEM/ Automotive Company.
• Relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing or Material Control within OEM/ Automotive Company.
• Proficient in SAP/ERP and MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Good command of English (4 skills)
• Problem-solving skills, persuasive negotiation skills, and good analytical thinking.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills.
