We are seeking a Senior Category Management for our B2B eCommerce website - Sumi Ơi. This is a reliable online shopping website, offering a diverse range of Indirect materials for all types of businesses in Vietnam. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in category management to plan, executive and monitor product sourcing, develop category strategies, and optimize our product portfolio. Your contributions will directly influence business growth, supplier relationships, and customer satisfaction.
1. Category Development and Management
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop and optimize the MRO product portfolio.
- Lead sourcing activities for assigned categories to achieve optimal
purchasing
costs (Total Cost of Ownership - TCO), ensuring quality standards are met.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and create value through innovative solutions for customers with diverse needs.
- Gather product information from suppliers, upload and maintain accurate listings on e-commerce platforms, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve any order issues.
- Manage supply chain risks and select suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements while maintaining flexibility in urgent situations.
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales growth, enhance customer experience, improve order fill rate, and improve conversion rates.
2. Supplier Relationship management
- Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient product supply.
- Ensure timely product supply with high quality and cost efficiency, while optimizing purchasing strategies and pricing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve product, delivery, and customer service issues.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance using KPIs, and take action to improve relationships with underperforming suppliers.
- Segment suppliers based on their strategic value and develop tailored strategies for each segment.
3. Pricing Management
- Monitor and continuously update pricing policies based on supplier inputs, market trends, and competitor analysis to maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that reflect customer preferences, market conditions, and competitor actions, ensuring a competitive edge.
- Utilize data-driven insights to develop pricing models and forecast revenue and costs for each category.
4. Business Process Optimization
- Evaluate and analyze sales data and customer feedback to make decisions on improving product and pricing strategies.
- Executive and monitor the purchasing, logistics activities to ensuring budget compliance and achievement of financial targets for product categories.
- Collaborate with related departments to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned categories.
5. Perform other related tasks as required by management.
Yêu cầu
1. Educational Background
- Bachelors degree or higher in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Certifications in Purchasing, Category Management, or Supply Chain are highly preferred.
2. Experience
- At least 4-5 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement, particularly within the MRO sector or related industrial fields.
- Strong understanding of B2B business models, with e-commerce experience preferred.
3. Skills:
- Comfortable with a bilingual in English and native language.
- Strong data analysis and market analysis skills; experience with Excel, SQL, Python and ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking, creativity, and quick decision-making ability.
4. Personality Traits
- Self-motivated and result-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn and innovate.
- Willingness to challenge oneself and innovate in the workplace.
5. Others
- Willing to travel to industrial zones for supplier/customer meetings.
